THE HUNTING
Free Range Red Stag
Deep inside the AO Mountain Camp, in one of the finest Red Stag territories in Patagonia, we have three base camps. This huge ranch lies southeast of San Martín de los Andes city and covers an area of 200,000 magnificent acres of pure mountain high country, thick forests, glades and deep valleys. Due to the challenging terrain, hunting is done on horseback in order to reach the hunting area and then the hunt begins on foot.
The horses allow the hunter to have a much more enjoyable hunting experience (there is no need to have prior experience since these mountain horses are well trained). Accommodations
The lodging is composed of array of large, comfortable individual tents. In camp there is a cook that prepares hearty meals. Tents are strategically located near a stream and prepared for wind conditions.
